After a great success of Bob Geldof's mega concert Band Aid that raised funds for famine victims in Ethiopia, USA was thinking to do the same. So, Ken Kragen, along with Quincy Jones as the producer, and Michael Jackson with Lionel Richie as the songwriter, contacted many artists to team up in a mega charity recording. So, on Jan 28th 1985, a history was made. Many top class artists gathered together in a Los Angeles studio, leaving all their fame and ego at the front door, and joined together for a wonderful reason; to raise funds for the same purpose as Band Aid. The line up were magnificent, and it was even more than amazing to see how they could contribute together, producing such an amazing collaboration, one of the biggest collaboration in music history, and the world. This is a timeless collection, a milestone in music history and will never be forgotten. It becomes relevant to share this one, as we're celebrating christmas. Let's share the love, bless, spirit and joy to everybody around the world!
