Toshi Kubota - For Real

Toshi Kubota (KUBOTA Toshinobu, 久保田利伸) is the pioneer of soul in Japanese music scene. He has started his career from 1986 and still active until now. He's been in many different genres, like soulful RnB, hiphp, pop, reggae and acid jazz.

This album is his latest from 2006. A cool album, mostly groovy n funky with thick soul factor. There are some smooth jazz taste, groovy RnB even nice funky acid jazzy. I really recommend this one, especially for those who like the blend between soul, RnB, hiphop and jazz.
